I stand corrected! The Necronomicon does exist, written after Lovecraft.

Dear Good Sister, my initial reaction to this is that you must be joking. Right? *insert nervous laughter here*

Cthulhu, I know I misspell it all the time myself, is a fictional character referred to in stories by HP Lovecraft. To the best of my knowledge nobody follows this character except as fans of well-written fiction. Similarly, there is no such work as the Necronomicon, it is a plot device in Lovecraft’s works and only referred to and not written. Again, if you’re serious, I suggest you click your browser away from the Jack Chick website and go to google and discover this for yourself.

The greatest risk to anyone making use of our fine website is carpal-tunnel syndrome, but they’ll go after the mouse and keyboard manufacturers so I’m actually pretty safe from what is no more than a mascot to Idaho’s Premier Media Culture Expo.

C’mon… fess up, this is a joke, right?
